What can you expect if you choose «All PRO HOME REPAIR» to handle your residential roof replacement project?

A process rooted in attention to detail and most importantly a commitment to exceptional workmanship.

First, we take any steps needed to protect your landscaping, siding, doors, windows and other parts of your home. Next we completely remove your old roof system and perform a visual inspection of the plywood decking. If any boards are found to be rotten or damaged, we will make any repairs needed before moving forward. Then we protect your roof from moisture by installing a synthetic felt underlayment. Finally we install the complete roof system using materials from some of the best manufacturers in the industry including GAFOwens CorningCertainteed, and others.

RAFTER VENTS

Rafter vents, often called baffles protect intake vents in your attic from becoming clogged or covered by insulation or debris. Rafter vents ensure the soffit vents are clear and there is a channel for outside air to move into the attic at the soffits and out through roof vents.

WHAT DOES A BAFFLE LOOK LIKE?

Rafter vents come in 4-foot lengths and 14-1/2 and 22-1/2 inch widths for different rafter spacings. Rafter vents should be placed on your attic ceiling in between the rafters at the point where your attic ceiling meets your attic floor.  Common baffle colors are pink, black, and tan.

BLOCKED INTAKE VENTS

When intake vents are blocked, the amount of fresh air needed to properly ventilate your attic is impaired. This can lead to heat buildup in the attic during summer months. And allow moisture build up in winter.
